The full-size, eight-passenger Toyota Sequoia is available in three trim levels -- SR5, Limited, and Platinum -- with either two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive traction. The baseSequoia SR5 is well equipped with amenities like power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories and a CD/cassette audio system. SequoiaLimited’s come fully equipped with 20-inch alloys, running boards, a sunroof, heated leather seats and a premium 14-speaker JBL audio system; many of these features are available as SR5 options.
Under the hood of the Sequoia SR5 rests a 4.6-liter V8 rated at 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque, while the Limited and Platinum comes with 5.7-liter V8 rated at 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque (also available is a Flex Fuel engine) .This engine lives up to Toyota's tradition of smooth and seamless power plants, and it's hooked up to an equally competent 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. Properly equipped, the Toyota Sequoia offers low-range 4WD capability but has a maximum towing capacity of 6,500 pounds. The Sequoia comes standard with Power-assisted 4-wheel Anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control, front side-impact airbags, and side curtain airbags for first- and second-row occupants.
